My Sincerest Apologies

PostPosted: Thu Jan 28, 2010 9:25 am

Hey guys, I'm very sorry for the stupid way I acted, especially toward two particular gentlemen on this board. Me and alcohol don't mix, and it won't fly if I'm in a band.

I did sincerely take your advice, dug in my archives, and put what I could fit on my page. This isn't a plug or anything. And if you don't want to converse with me here I understand...I wouldn't either.

No matter what, I won't come in here fired up like I did before(if I am welcomed). I'm just being a man about this situation for the sake of being civil, not in some cunning way to build rapport.

Once again, I apologize.
Kruliosis

No need to apologise man. I think we've all said too much on here at one point or another, some even more so.

Hope you get that band sorted and don't be a stranger. :D

Eh...it happens. I've done much the same in here a time or two, some ppl would say.

All is forgiven as far as I'm concerned.

Welcome to the forum, again.

I got drunk and butthurt. That's just all in a nutshell.

Don't drink 8 cans of Natural Ice at a time...unless you just plan on going to sleep otherwise.

I read some of what transpired. From my perspective, Krul was asking for input for his recordings. One reply from a reviewer I thought was a little inappropriate and things blew up.

The ability to to recognize when you have erred is secondary to the ability and willingness to apologize seeking forgiveness.

I applaud your gallantry sir.

Kruliosis, on here we call that PWI (posting while intoxicated) I have been known to partake in this process and I have made a total ass of myself on more than one occasion. I know how you feel Bro. but I will tell you these are a great bunch of guys and they will definately forgive you. Don't sweat it man its all good! We surely will not be the last folks to be PWI on this site!

I'm not aware of your tirade and the members' critique of your material. I'm not a metal head like you, but you sound pretty kick-ass on the guitar. I think you know that the vocal tracks on your profile samples are very weak. Strengthen your vocals, get them more up front in the mix to where somebody could understand the words, and I think you've got something happening. Your posts are always welcome on here, even if you've had a few beers (I've never done anything like that...).

Thanks my brothers! I've lowered my beer count to 2 instead of 8. I'm out of beer right now, which is fine with me.

Fisherman Bob, thanks for the compliment. You know, I never considered myself a vocalist, that's why I'm hoping to find a bass/vocalist or just a vocalist.

I did two shows before playing guitar and vox, and both times I was so terrified before the show that my bandmates asked if I was ok. My face would turn white, and then I would toss my cookies. First time was the worst. The place was literally packed! I remember I couldn't even answer the phone for nearly a week because my throat was sore as hell. So was my stomach. I did my best to sound strong so I wouldn't sound weak. I passed the exam, but really paid for it the next day. It was just a bunch of yelling anyway.

I'd like to find someone with some melody if I could. It seems like a lot of these guys today think that barking is the thing to do.

No prob, I used to have kruliosis myself, they haven't found a cure yet. I don't drink near as much as I used to (I don't drink any less either).

I didn't read what went on ... but from your apology I have a good idea.

Krul, I've been there. I haven't had a drink since 2000. People like me a lot better now ... and I spend much less time seeking forgiveness too.

The first step in correcting a problem, is admitting that there is one.

My applause to you for facing up.

Now, don't let it happen again!!

Good luck musically and all the best to you.
