Hope

(OFF TOPIC) It's only September. But what are your hopes for 2010? I thought we'd be on Mars by now, not likely to happen in my lifetime as I see it at this time.

I've given up on hoping wars would cease too. I see what I saw 10 years ago in fact. Self importance growing at an astonishing rate while at the same time things and people condensing perhaps after being too hot but as they condense they in turn get even hotter until the pressure becomes unbearable. Rather like droplets on the hood of a highly waxed car after a flash flood.

I think my hope would be that some nasty diseases that have been around for a while could be stemmed to a point where they are controllable. At least then people will be able to fight more.

I hope replicators will be a household word and money will become a thing of the past.

Chippy, you sound like you have a whispering eye and a drug problem.

Please go back on the anti-depressants..

Strike 2 Mr. Cap'n.
Have I ever been personally abusive to you, nay I've tried to chat. It appears the only thing this forum is about is Bible Class.

Whilst that is not a bad subject there are better houses for it. This was a mere muse, just a muse. Periodically interchanging with hardening my fingertips on the guitar, just a muse.

Never mind let's all hope Chippy gets better soon.

Chippy, you're alright by my book, yet I have so many books so I'm not sure which one but I'll figure it out, I think it might be one of my Hunter S. Thompson books...yeah, that's it.

Thanks Chippy, yes I recieved two calls yesterday for interviews with seperate hospital systems.
I dont want you to think though I am somehow, mistreated.
No gettin "a" job as a nurse is all too easy.
It's getting "the" job. The one that allows time for me to be a father to my teenage sons, to be around to be a husband to my wife, to have time to be a grandfather, and a musician.
The problem with a lot of nursing jobs is they just plain suck.
Or the schedule sucks. ( I worked 32 hrs every weekend for about four years)
No, I've been doing this for about 15 years.
I am sick of missing football games, band concerts, orchesta recitals, and the occasional day off with my wife of 27 years.
Need a job or a carrer? Go to Nursing school.
Want a life, do something else!!

Sans I don't judge. I'm not a judge, never will be a judge. I however am allowed my thoughts.

My Daughter is a nurse God bless her. I'm sure she feels and will feel the same too. Hey it sounds like you need a change but it doesn't mean that YOU change. I'm sure you'll do good in anything and with everyone that you meet.

Much speed and goodwill.

Chippy.

I hope that in 2010 that my arrangement of Coffee Break will be performed at the National Flute Association convention ( NFA ).

There is talk that I might be going to Japan for a gig or two. :D

Hopefull I will have a bass flute and an alto flute by then.

Hopefully my 2 daughters will have graduated college.

There's a National FLUTE Association?

I was gonna try to start one of those for the bass, but I kept getting contacted by fishermen!

Now I'm trying to be one of them...
