Showcasing Obscurity:

Over the next few months a new website, Showcasing Obscurity, will be presenting talented vocalists and musicians who have yet to take their talent out from their bedroom. A video performance for each obscure artist will be accompanied by a brief profile and interview. If enough buzz can be gained for this website we would like to have the best of our featured artists compete in various competitions voted on by visitors of this site. If all goes well we will be offering up some prizes to winning artists.

If you are an unsigned musician who would like to be considered for our website please email a video of yourself performing or a link to the video on youtube. The video does NOT have to be professional, in fact we'd prefer it if it were a solo performance in your bedroom. If chosen, someone will contact you to conduct an online interview. This is a great opportunity for free exposure and we will gladly post a link to your official website or info on how to obtain a demo.

The ultimate goal is to garner attention for unknown artists and help propel them to greater heights. In short, we want to showcase the obscure.

1. The above sentence deserves jail time. I want to kick someone in the balls every time I hear it.

2. If you are going to start a business, at least invest in an actual domain instead of using a free webservice (Weebly - Create a free website.
Fast. Free. Easy. Now.) and using a gmail account as your primary form of contact. How can anyone take that seriously? Do you even have a business license? You would fail even if you did succeed because you failed to LLC your business and the first person to sue you now owns your mom's house and the basement you are running this operation out of...

:D Not sure the free exposure will do much.... I think your own website will do more. I am about to get Obscene.

I've had over 10,000 plays of my songs on MySpace.
That was free, too; so I've gotta agree with artistone.
