We have recieved much rain over the last two weeks or so, we usually dont start to get rain till later in August without Mr J sending us left overs from his hurricain.
The resultant humidity is pretty high, but with temps below 100 it's been a blessing. The cattle pastures and hay feilds are full and green again, the river is flowing wonderfully and band practice is tolerable in the evenings due to the temp. reduction.
We also have a lot of fires this time of year, not so far this year.
Let It Rain.
(Shameless plug for NOISY KUNG FU song title. )

Sans, could you send some of that rain down this way, We have been in one of the worst droughts in recent memory. My water bill was $180.00 last month and 2 of the kido's were gone that month. Watering my lawn is getting expensive but it looks green while most of my neighbors lawns are brown. 8)

Well I've always said I'm well connected. :D Perhaps that's why I get a tingling shock from door handles and the like here. Hahahaha

If youget those shocks on a fairly consistant bases you may turn off the main breaker to your place and see if that negates the shocks.
If so I would look into the ground situation. You can also get the little cheap light up line testers and check your outlets for appropriate ground.

I do have a general tester here. I'll probably look into this and get my blood checked too (Bob). However its just not all the time, it appears to be when I touch something metal, even silver foil believe it or not and not always either.

Brains, Chemicals and nerves are a funny ol bunch aren't they. :D

You know, when I was a teen, I had silmular experience, especially if I had any breaks in the cuticals around my fingers.
But it all stopped when we went from the bronze age to using iron.
