I was conversing with someone here and they deleted that. I believe we're both paying members. We were trying to get something going on musically. Don't know if it's the staff being hyper-vigilant, or some hacker messing with everything.

Works as well as any other means within the confines of what it is.

I picked up a drummer and a bassist off this site that have been with us for over three years now.
Plus a large percentage of our gigs we have booked were due to initial contacts made on Bandmix.

Difference is ... I paid my dues and used the search function diligently.

Honestly I would not expect a national / international forum to perform that function for me.
Though I have meet some really cool cats here.
