the further from now the better it'd be for me, and I'm just refering to any proper bass player, I'm one of those kids that catches flak for never learning how to play chord tones, I practically started out playin tool (all sorts of crazy bass intense stuff there and things to keep me amused, cursed ADD) and the guitar is rhythm most of the time unless a wah solo comes around but I'm coming around slowly, maybe if I can buy this acoustic fretless I want to haha, and its just a crazy pipe dream of a roadtrip that I need to take (what kind of hippie doesn't get to take a roadtrip in their life seriously)

NY is quite a way from Roanoke VA, but we'd be honored if you could make it dude.. Looks like we're gonna need a bigger 'playhouse' -- any ideas, NeanderPaul? -- I wonder how much the civic-center charges for rental??

Cool, Ted! :D
The Salem civic center is still there, Eddy. I looked it up a while ago, no list of rental fees tho. I guess I'll give 'em a call, just for grins.

Somehow I missed the last few DOZEN posts. I will be on tour off and on for the next 6 months. Out for 2 weeks in for 2 weeks. I should be home around the middle to end of june. There is always the Jefferson Center. I think they charge $2000 for their big stage. Not sure about the little stage.

 way out of my present budget, even split 10 ways...
I guess the coffee house sounds good.
I only have 1 little amp. It's loud tho. I dont have gear either. Just was hoping for a kick bass drum or 2 .. The coffeehouse stage is too small for that?
Anyways,
Good luck on your tour Paul 8)

This place is really quiet. So to get distortion you turn the gain up and the volume down. I have actually refined my drum kit for my loopty loop tour so it only takes up the space of a kick. I mounted the snare and the cymbal on top. I can bring and play it with brushes.

Im fairly hurting on the cash flow to ZZZZZzzz, I just bought a new ovation acoustic fo playing with NO WORRIES, and new tires for my jeep.
On gear though I have two heads and two cabs so thats not an issue at all.

Happy B'day Eddy! Glad "No Worries" is working out.

Paul- That sounds good! Is that coffee place called "the Coffee shop" or something? My wife said she's heard of it (she works in Roanoke) .
