Again, what is with all the DIY? What happened to people who talk with each other about their experiences, rather than wasting someone's time posting some random YouTube video, or wasting time arguing with each other?
Everyone HAS shared.
Everyone HAS helped.
We can only show you the door.
But, YOU have to go through it.
If you repeatedly keep finding the same results from everyone you encounter, then the problem is YOURSELF.
No. No one has done such a thing with me. The people who have tried to help me were very close-minded and can't seem to think outside the box. When I'm open with them, and try to be honest with that person and kindly tell the person why his suggestion isn't going to be very effective, instead of accepting that, he tries to convince me that I'm wrong and to try it anyway.
Also in the last sentence, why do people keep saying that it is me, when it's the person on the other end who might be confused. This includes posting physical copies of my request, as well as trying to learn about something new by talking to people who are more open about who they are as a person.
The only place where I didn't run into this type of attitude was at Baton Rouge Community College. Most people were willing to help spread the word, and voiced whether they help me out, and were smart enough to ask questions regarding what I have already tried, but for some reason, whenever I do it online, it's like all the bullet points are ignored, and I'm the one at fault, or I happen to be led to sites where almost everybody on the site is gigging/working musician as opposed to someone who simply plays music for pure enjoyment with one or two friends, but would like to have something else as his job.
