Roanoke sounds a little closer than long island. Thats another place I havent had the good fortune to visit. We could find a local bar or music store like Sam Ash who has a stage already set up that would love to bring in a little business for a weekend. The store in Charlotte used to have a stage set up for upcoming bands to try out new stuff.I used to drive up there on fri eves for an all night jam that was always a lot of fun. I dont think I played with the same guys moire than once over the severasl months going there,but they always had a real orderly and fun agenda.it was usually 4 hrs of riding for 4 hrs or more fun. The thing I liked best was I didnt have to pack anything and had a wall full of instruments to try out.

Yeah, there's going to be some researching to do and probly be several months away.
