Many vitamin and mineral defecinces can cause that as well. Especially potassium. But your a smart guy. I dont need to go into all that.

I'm feeling very depressed at the moment thinking of all those gigs I have to cancel and the possibility of not being able to work for a while... My wife already works 2 jobs and without my income, there are going to be very hard times ahead... I'm just praying to God that He can spare me this problem till my little boys are old enough to help their mommy out,,,

Dr. wanted to send an ambulance to my house last night but I insisted he first examine me today....My whole new music career might be cut right down if it is what I suspect... The pain came on fast and furious and is increasing tenfold everyday... I knew it was inevitable... started smoking when I was 12 and never stopped:( ....

Well... just got back... found out someone in the club this weekend gave me chickenpox/shingles! ... My hand gets shook a lot when I get off stage and the "rash" started on sunday... Was told that I'm going to be in immense pain in the genital and colon area for quite a while and was given a few meds and painkillaz to rectify the situation...In a way this sucks because the pain is indescribable but I'm so relieved I don't need hospitalization or it wasn't the big "C" ... Looks like I'll be puttin' on my show this Sat. afterall but I'll be in quite some pain.... Oh well.... I'll let it all out on the fretboard!

Sorry to hear that Terry, but is sure beats the alternative. Or it could have been the clap, couldnt resist. Take care of yourself and do whatever the doctor says to get thru this. Shingles Ive always heard can take some time to get over.

Id like to be at that show this weekend, cause I know when Im stressed I let it all out on stage. Im sure you will be ripping this weekend. You need to post some videos of this show.

Shingles suck and can be very painfull. The virus from chicken pox hides out in your nervous system untill you are stressed by something. Then bang, leasions.
I have in the past used silversulfsalazine cream on the leasins to reduce the topical pain.
Did you not have chicken pox as a kid? It never goes away. Just hangs around waiting for you to get run down physically of have a lot of stress and bang "were bAAAck"

Wow! Bummer. Get better soon Dude. My wife had shingles (her father was a Dr.(surgeon) - a long time ago and nuthin can be done about it i dont guess from what he/ she said, .She's fine now but she said it was rough. Hang in there Buddy, Hang Tough.
I wash and sterilize my hands so much people think I'm obsessive. After every doorknob, every snack-machine button I touch with my hands.. everything..
I didnt know that you can get shingles from shaking hands.. yuk.. sorry to hear that man.. hope you dont lose any (or too many) gigs
