There's nothing wrong or chessy with combining music with e-commerce. Let's be realistic here...I'm 54 years old, my knowledge of music is music is minimal I know the "C" scale, know a sharp from a flat, and a music grinder from a drummer. I love music a whole lot, and I love the power of words. So ce workwhat if vocals aren't with my music, note I never said I could sing. But I can write, and I will always write. No matter what the nasyers "says". Now about the e-commerce side of the house. It's going to be the wave of the future. It's going to be the way past the doorman the the sec...and eventuallty the president. I am doing this for a grant. With Obama's opening dialouge with Cuba, music will vastly be affected. And even though I don't know as much as the dude that called me a boy, I want to be in that playground. For years I have wasted time trying to find the secret to make e-commere work. I enrolled my 7 year old son in guitar (blues) at Menchy's. He quite good :D (Proud Dad) Back to my grant proposal... Basically, I am going to request funds for the expansion of Cuban artists to come to Messiah College. So while yes... I am seeking funds...some a note ewhere down the road my motives changed. At first it was self seeking, and then it became more humanitarian. And yes even though my music couldn't fart a note in a laxative, it sounds good to some...probably to those with selective hearing. Back again to the grant proposal...Not to long ago I found that with just one URL link, it's not possible. One has to link about. at least 15. And then moniter. I discovered this when I discovered songcastmusic. I make the music with jamstudio.com, make a cd with the services of songcastmusic. I also use xoundclick, askpedia, ts25 to a much lesser degree. Then about three weeks ago I found you guys. I cannot deny that I seek pennies from listening to my songs, but I do deny the false accusation of spam. Whoever spawned that monicker on me. has a different take on SPAM than ordinary society. Spam as I know it is forced on of you, it forces you to listen. I do not do that. You know that I am coming, and what kind music I will be presenting. And with that lengthy explanation of my motives, and  music   I will VAPID MONGU LOL

Yo man I cool 8) Philymon probably has been pissed on himself, sometime in his life. However I wouldn't consider a waste of time if he played blocks with me.

Thanks man

Um...I hope your undoubtedly innumerable applications for grants make more sense than your posts usually do. We are the same age, but you seem to lack a certain grasp of language at times. Try proof-reading your tripe, man, before you hit that "send" button!

Concerning "e-commerce," I find nothing inherently wrong with advertising your wares o/l, provided you are offering something that you've put work into. You have not done that work.

You may consider yourself a "humanitarian," but I suspect that your real goals are far less lofty. You seem to want to get a grant to make "songs" out of samples to "help" Cubans? Oh, & making money off of other ppl's works & possibly getting famous for it will be a nice little "side effect," won't it?

Get real with yourself, if not with us!

Put up all the URL's that you deem necessary, but as far as I can tell you are no "worker" or "humanitarian" or "composer." You DO look like a "poser," though.

I've done the garageband stuff AND real composing, writer, so I feel okay about the harsh criticisms...

Is Philby really just an alter ego for Simon Cowell?

Because he's got the same cold, analytical truth to his posts as Cowell has to the criticism he dishes out on Idol.

Plus Philby's right...

It's spooky.

I guess I'll just have to comfort myself in being right...heh heh heh
