I have to admit that your genre isn't my thing but you've got a nice quality in that your music is tolerable across the boards.
So many musicians write in their own rigid genre that is hard to digest if it's not your thing right off the bat. Your music doesn't do this and that's fairly admirable. Sounds radio friendly as well IMO.

The tech end of it bores me. Who cares whether the guitar line should be louder et cetera. It's enough to get mastered by someone you trust if that's what you want.. So many artists just can't even get to this point at all.

I let a Grateful Dead friend of mine listen to this and he likes it.
He says the music is similar to the GD, with a whiny vocal that actually gives it character, kind of a Stones thing he says.

I think it's good. I don't dig this genre but it wins you over or maybe that's you coming through?

So many bands I see are just awful. Don't be so quick to discredit yourself/your music. Too many other pos around here that have utter sh*t at the controls, it's just nice to hear something that doesn't make one cringe and nothing in your repertoire is cringe-worthy.

Wish I could say that readily. lol

Scott - some folks don't like to bother with the mixing stuff, others do! 8) Mastering takes the FINAL mix and bumps it up a bit, making the parts come together overall with maybe some EQ and compression, but the mix has to be right before that stage.

Thanks for giving a listen Scott.
As for genres... (no band) I don't have a lot boundaries when it comes to fitting in to some specific box of sound. Other than my own limitations. So I write it off as having a sense of freedom when it comes to writing.

This song came out decent enough. I think the performance is ok, message is there it was suppose to have a fun sound about it... it's close to the mark of what I wanted.
Mike and the others gave some good advice to pinpoint some issues I was too close to see at first.

Thanks again!
