Some old names still put out good stuff, but some release drivel.
Tull is an example of a band that continues to put out good material but also realizes where they fit: they captured their audience back in the 70's and know that their new stuff isn't going to get airplay. They put out new releases now because they want to, not because of a desire to sell units.
At a concert recently, Ian was mentioning their latest release and said "don't bother to buy it, just copy it from a friend. You guys have already bought too much of our stuff."
