Killing a bunch of people results in death and NO SOLUTIONS to the problem. It might make you feel better if you believe that you killed a bunch of scumbags. Problem is those scumbags will be replaced by more scumbags. There's never been a corrupt-free government in the history of man. There's never been a perfect form of government. There's ALWAYS been corruption in business. As long as there's people there will be corruption and abuse of power. The very definition of power results in psychopaths assuming leadership roles in ANY government. All we can ever hope for is that there are a limited number of psychopaths and a limited number of corrupt scumbags in charge of government or corporations. I believe the best form of government would be one that promotes free enterprise with a healthy dose of oversight. I'm for limited regulation to help prevent as much corruption as possible. You're never going to eliminate it, it's human nature. I'm not in favor of socialism whatsoever, but I am in favor of taking the best aspects of socialism if that would help us make our government run better. Many scholars have talked about the convergence of capitalism and socialism. This is actually taking place. Hopefully the BEST aspects of each will prevail. Our government and Constitution have stood longer than any other on the face of the Earth. It is still the best hope for the world in my opinion. Let's see if we can improve it with some frugal oversight and bring in just enough social programs (we NEED to do something with healthcare for example) to make our economy stronger WITHOUT raising taxes, WITHOUT hampering free enterpirse, and WITHOUT putting us all in the poor-house. We WILL get out of the economic mess we're in. It may take years, maybe decades, but we WILL prevail. America has proven to be one of the most resilient countries in the world. We AGAIN will lead the world into a BETTER situation. I don't think either Obama or McCain will hinder our progress. I'm not fearful that either one will do anything to impede our progress. I'm 100% sure that things will get better. Later...

I.M.O., - What this country (U.S.A.) needs is more mandatory Civics classes for the young, to instill a sense of how government really works, and its proper roll into the affairs of its citizenry.

Bob,
The government of our great land has been an evolving hybrid of a kind of socialistic, democratic republic for as long as you or I can remember.
My greatest concern, in the way we may be heading, is the erosion of our governments system of CHECKS AND BALANCES! (and I'm not talkin' about economics)

Vote wisely, American brothers and sisters. Keep the executive, legislative, and judicial branches SEPERATE, and the country has a good chance of healing itself.

I am very revolutionary Bob. "killin spree" does not "necessarily " refer to the actual act of taking life. As I see it that would be a last resort of a doomed people. Remember 1776?
Yet we must stop worring so much about cell phones, theam parks, white teeth, and silicone boobs. A majority of the people I know are so lazze fare about life in general and polatics/government in particular they dont even realise or care that they are being enslaved by the world bank.
Grass roots polatics is the only way out IMO. Third party? NO PARTY.
We must elect indaviduals who restpect and understand liberty. From the school board and county judges all the way up.
Why I ask would a large portion of the presidential campagn funds be in small untraceable amounts from foreign sources?
Why is voter registration fraud so rampant? And NOT being addressed?
Why is no one willing to do anything about our boarder war that is not even being reported on the news?
America is the last bastion of any level of freedom in the world.
When its gone. Its GONE FOREVER!

A huge problem we have in America is simple greed. I have been working for the last eighteen years in cabinet and wood restoration. I work in a lot of very expensive homes in Johnson County, Kansas which is one of the wealthiest counties in America. I have worked for hundreds of young couples (in their thirties and early fourties) who "own" a huge house, have two or three very expensive autos which they "own" and most have at least two children. I"ve been asking myself for years how do all these young people have so much money? Now I know the answer, they DO NOT. Most everything is leveraged. A few years ago I was working in a very expensive subdivision (million dollar plus homes) and every other house had a for sale sign. I asked the owner and he told me that quite a few of the residents there were former Sprint executives. (Overland Park, Ks is the world headquarters of Sprint). The owner also told me that many of the home values there had dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars. Too many Americans are living way past our means. We are besieged with advertising to buy this and buy that. We are besieged with credit offers. Americans and their government have been spending way too much money they DO NOT HAVE. First and foremost we definitely need to get back to basics. (Altough I like silicone boobs.) Later...

Bob you and I think a lot alike. (scarry isint it) Though we express it differently we are often on the same channel. I would never ask a man who he votes for, but I would be interested in your opinions. You seem to think things very objectivly. I believe in that freedom as well, as going out for the American dream. Part of that dream is the right to reach for the brass ring whatever that means to the individual.

I can be greedy, over extend myself and lose my ass. But to expect someone else to pick up the check with their taxes. No,No,NO.

The way I see it.
To be irrisponsable with your own money is a right.
To be irrisponsable with the money of others is a crime.

I just want peace dudes.

Nothing other and an economy that makes people want to order things. (From the USA!) Yes mistakes are made of course they are and it really doesn't matter who is at the top. (Well sometimes).

But let's hope that change in whatever form that takes leads everyone, not just here in the US, but everyone to something better than we've had over the last 8 years or more.

PEACE!
