Good morning all . . .
Seems the general state of music is abysmal these days .
Without going into specifics, or opinions of why so . . .
1) What are you doing to cope ( or at least attempt to ) with the recent changes in the music scene ?
2) Any bright ideas on how 'we' should deal with the recent changes tht have left so many of us 'unemployed' or underutilized ?

1. Write new music. Learn to use recording programs. Brush up your technique.
2. Get the tech you need to connect with fans online; they miss shows too. The market has been leaning this way for a while. Work on streaming shows. Give your fans a way to contribute and a reason. (Special giveaways to Patreon members, etc.) Getting outside your local market is tough but digital marketing is very hands-on. One can't just post songs and expect profit.

In a nutshell, doing something, anything towards your future improvement is coping at this point. Talking and collaborating with others online helps too.
