Has anyone here ever heard of Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, OK? Originally it was the home of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. It has been the site of many a legendary shows. It was one of the few venues that the Sex Pistols played on their US tour. Legend has it that a smashed hole in the wall in the backstage "dressing room" area is where Sid Vicious put his fist through the plaster.

Does anyone outside of Oklahoma know the legend that is Cain's?

No, but I HAVE been to the Troubador in Berkeley Springs, WV...they are the home to the "Counrty Music Hall of Fame" & a Patsy Cline Shrine of sorts...I'm gonna play there one day, if I can ever replace the drunken guitarist in Flamingo Road.

Don't know anything about a legend, but i have played at Cains in Tusla..
Good time i can tell ya that for sure..If i would have known that, i would have payed more att: to the holes in the walls.But i do remember a sh*t load of bands that signed the wall right behind the stage in the hallway..
