Since you're willing to collaborate online, try Ohm Studio. There are lots of folks from all over the world, making neat music on there, and they need vocals. The first 10 songs are free. As for classified ads on this forum, they never pan out. We're spread out all over the place. Just make sure your profile has all the info people would need, including music samples.

Emma

I've written a symphonic metal musical that goes close to an hour and a half. That's the good news. There are roughly a dozen songs I care about plus a bunch of 'glue' music and what not to hold it together.

however - the bad news always follows, doesn't it? I used my own musical template plus chord charts, and I just don't read / write fast enough spell out all those parts I require. Even if I did, I'm far too uneducated to score the orchestral parts. Strings? Horns?

I say all this because I have determined that I will need an arranger to prepare this for performance. Your post says 'vocal arranger.' Does that mean I need more than one arranger? If so, how many? My assumption is that an 'arranger' can take my work, score it, and integrate the various elements needed to perform it so they are playing together.

Is that accurate or do I need to know more?

thx

She posted that February 12.
It's now March 2, and she hasn't answered anyone.
.
Is there something you'd like to say, Emma?

Tthe forums haven't been real active for at least 3 years, and most of the 'action' was petty squabbling and non-music postings anyway. When the Admin decided totighten moderation up a bunch of folks got all pissy about that and left.

Yeah, it got way out of hand.
Previously, this site was absolutely ruled by Trolls, and all the nice guys got driven away.
.
So this place is kind of re-starting from scratch.
Things here are pretty good, now; Bandmix ought to send out invitations to the member who left, explaining how the trolls are gone.
.
Still, regardless, I've seen several people post something, a question, or a request, and then you never see them again.
Perhaps Bandmix might consider reminding those people that they posted something and got replies.

The site could definitely use an overhaul. How many people just start one thread, selling something, looking for a band or band member or ask some question about something, and then Never return? Tgatvis an ad, in my opinion. Change those completely. They should expire after a few months.

It might cause our fees to go up - paying for a fortune teller. Bad manners is virtually endemic these days.

In sci fi terms - it will take a planet-buster to fix what's wrong and really get it right.
