Hello!
I just found out that I’ll be hosting the Open Mike at the "Buttonwood Tree," in Middletown, tonight, Monday, 3-17-13.
I usually run this only once a month, but they needed me to fill in, tonight.
.
This is a light-hearted and fun event with a group of friendly and open folks.
Anything goes, guitar, violin, piano, poetry, singing, dancing . . .
Sign-up starts at 7:30pm, the mike opens at 8PM.
The "Buttonwood Tree," in Middletown, is on 605 Main St., right next to "Its Only Natural" (big green letters, you can park behind them). . . . south side of the street.
The Buttonwood Tree is a non-profit organization; $3 suggested donation. (860) 347-4957.
Email: thebuttonwoodtree@gmail.com
Coffee, tea and wine are available.
.
This is a good place to contact musicians of all calibers.

Alan

I'm guessing that at a 'non-profit' there's no green beer!

There was beer, wine and coffee available.
No green dye, though, so it was gold, white, and brown.
I was drinking coffee that night; that's usually what I drink when I perform.
