Sorry nothing for you wannabe poltico's... just a song bout those that stretch it a bit!
A subject like this can be written a lot of different ways I guess... I took the lying cheating woman approach... just for fun. Nobody got hurt in the making of it.
This is a first mix so any comments critques... have at it.

I am not 100% on the title, but I am at a loss for something better.

I keep thinking about "Pocketful of Alibis/Lies and Alibis/Lies, Why's and Alibis" something like that but the tune is solid enough.

doesn't strike me as country at all. well, maybe some of the gtr stuff put me in a little in mind of the Byrds but that AIN'T a bad thing.

I appreciate you guys taking the time and your comments. Was a fun little tune.
It does have a touch of Country-Americana about it. Between the bass line and the Strat pup position to give it a bit o' twang.
But I like those sounds on some tunes.
It was an interesting subject. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lyrical idea.
I was tempted to make it political song considering... well they're all a bunch of lying sons a beotches... but then I thought nah.... that's someone else idea of fun

Another uptempo hit! During the chorus (lies lies lies) and lead guitar part I think the bass could go into a 'walking bass' line, rather than the root/5th pattern.

I tried several approaches with the bass line during the little solo part but it kept coming out too close to the guitar line so I tried to stagger it in there. Everything else i tried, just seem to get lost in the mix. I still need to clean it up (vocals especially.) but I'll give it another try.
