lol I PREFER a keys guy and only 1 guitar.

"2 Guitarists" are just 2 mediocre guitarists trying to get the job done.

If you got that keyboardist from hell, he does way more than some rhythm guitarist.

Our main Keys guy gets many a gig and calls in the Dead world.
We share him with at least 3 other G.D. bands.
Our 2 back ups are also very busy

Seeking studio musicians(keys included) and having a huge problem finding a good one. I play and I'm practicing to get as great as I once was prior to having to give up playing. Settling for guitarists and bassist to make up for lack of a great keyboardist.

Anyone can hit the right notes but takes a singer or musician who's lived them to perform them with heart and soul.

Well I don't know where you are from but 'round here, you won't be playing long if you can't play with feeling.

ONLY one thing worse than SUCK, and that's playing in a sterile fashion.

We're saying the same thing. I'm from the big apple & west coast. Accompanied some great vocalist who never hit it big. They had heart, soul and some had histories of pain like the late great Billie. Not saying they were paid with chickens but they had tough lives and sang the blues with that down deep feeling. As I stated, we're speaking the same language on this.
