Yup some town called Slaton...
He played with many of my favorites including George Harrison, John Lennon The Stones... also played for Elvis and Buddy Holly.
Jim Price also from Texas did a lot of the trumpet sounds next to Keyes. Both played the on Harrison's "All things must Pass" album. The 72 Exile tour... they were the chit during that era!
I know how you Texans take pride in your own... those two were awesome. imo!
