Thanks for the listening Mike... I agree the hook is weak.
The song was really something I just had to get off my chest.
Was a pain to get it where it's at and I have no interest in revisiting it.
At least for now.
As for the solo part the idea was to try and lighten it up a bit. Hence the do do do's singing along with it then build to the possibility that things can get better.
So it's not suppose to be much of a solo just an interval to the change. If I could sing I would've do do doo through that whole part. lol! If that makes any sense. That's it the song needs more doo doo! The second time I sing "I still believe..." around the 3 minute mark is where it's weakest and needs additional vocals or more feel. imo
