So in other words, any money made is ours and not yours?

Lets see how this works;

Sponsor pays you $100.00

You get $70.00 for expenses and operational costs
$30.00 for personal costs and artist $0.00

Is that about right?

As far as where the money goes... when a band has a song on our show and we promote the hell out of their website... they are more than welcome to keep all the money they collect from selling CD's to their new fans through CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes etc... They can also keep all the money that they make through bookings, whether it be at a new club that heard them on our show, or a Bah Mitzvah, or a showcase, or a festival. And HEY... if a producer hears them, signs them and they become chart toppers... I won't come after them for one red cent! Hell, I won't even charge them for air time (pay-to-play) to cover my expenses.

Speaking of expenses... right now, I'm DEEP in the red when it comes to my own investment in this program. The last show that I did like this... well I won't say that was 'in the black'... but probably just light pink... maybe pale gray... all I know is that I was well below the minimum wage standards - even from an illegal immigrants point of view.

Bottom line is that I no longer work in broadcasting full time and this is MY HOBBY. You know, a way to have fun... RELAX... make something out of nothing and maybe even meet some cool people along the way.

If my having a good time is so offensive to you... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I really don't need you pissing on MY parade.
