My name is Jean-Claude Aylestock, I am a composer, arranger and piano teacher. I offer my services of music transcription for your compositions and all instrumental or vocal pieces. Music transcription generally refers to listening to an audio music source, and then notating that music down on paper.
I specialize in transcribing and arranging music for piano, but I can also transcribe music for most instruments.
In order to get immediate cost and time quotes, simply send either an MP3, an MPEG, a WMA or WAV file to transcripteur@hotmail.com - If you do not have compressed music files, you can always send me a CD or audio cassette (inquire by e-mail). The cost of the transcription is based upon the complexity and duration of the music. The bulk of the music I have transcribed falls within the 60$ to 150$ range, with the least expensive being 30$ and the most 300$. For volume projects, discount rates may be agreed upon beforehand that can reduce prices by as much as 25 to 50%.
I use a highly sophisticated music notation software to write the music. The chord symbols, lyrics and piano fingering may be added in the score if desired. I complete most transcriptions in under a week, though extremely difficult or complex music may require more time. Using the music notation software, I will deliver to you professional sheet music as a PDF, JPG, BMP, TIF or GIF file that you can have published or duplicated. I can provide you also with a MIDI file for no additional charge.
For your (and my) convenience, the payment is done through Paypal, however I can accept checks and money orders.
