CBS and Mark Burnett Productions have teamed up to find the greatest undiscovered marketing genius for a new show, "Jingles"! We are looking for teams of (preferably) 2-4 people to write and perform product jingles. A team could be anything from a brother/sister team to a singing comedy duo or a barbershop quartet!

Do you think you could use your quick mind, great sense of humor, and musical skills to wow Fortune 500 companies with your talent?

We are looking for fun, high energy performances mixed with a competitive spirit. Minimum age 13.

Please email Jonathan at jtanzman@markburnettprod.com for more information. We will be casting in Nashville late May

Barry Manilow made a fortune writing jingles for companies (McDonald's & Coca-Cola to name a few) before he ever became famous as a solo artist. Jingles can be VERY profitable. Make sure if you write one get it copywritten BEFORE you hand it over to anybody. Later...

I hear what you are saying Bob. Doing jingles for cash is one thing. Doing Jingles as another lame assed reality knockoff? So much could be done with TV that could be entertaining instead of the same old tired crap that morons waste time on. My old man calls it an "idiot box" . He's right again.

you are absolutely right!
He also had the catch phrases...

.....you deserve a break today....@ McDonalds!

and yet another-

... And like a good neighbor....State Farm is there!

Manilow wrote both and yet more... it paid for his recording so he could be a marketable recording artist.

For those not understanding what kind of money is generated from writing these you should do your research on the royalties for these jingles.

Now imagine them being played during the world series or the super bowl.
EVERY time this airs- the writer gets PAID!

Good luck cause you or your idea could be the next greatest thing out there!

If I got rich selling Mc Commies garbage I'd have to shoot myself.
I'd rather be poor and die with some dignity.
