It is Official: World Class Orchestra is Performing the National Anthem on 1-2-2010 at 6PM to Open the Junior Orange Bowl Parade in Coral Gables
The Video of May 17th Set the Bar. World Class Orchestra Will Be The First Orchestra In The 60 Year History of the Junior Orange Bowl Parade to Perform. Help us make History and Set a Precedence for Other Parades. WCO has United with South Florida Jubilee Chorus in a Second Unprecedented Historical Accomplishment as They Will Sing the National Anthem A Cappella, First. The Orchestra Will Perform the National Anthem with Everyone Singing. Musicians From Many Other Orchestras and Big Bands Are Offering Their Assistance. All Qualified Musicians Will Join WCO In This Unique Event.

This is a nonpaying event for a 501c3 Charity that helps children. Your participation does not require performing music, you may march with us in the Parade and carry the Flag of the USA or the Flag of your Home Country or even just march with us. World Class Orchestra will give Musicians that want to perform the Patriotic music, free of charge.

This will have major coverage including WLRN TV. We have invited other groups to join us to make the strongest showing possible. We have invited Choral Groups, Dance Troupes, Artists, our Volunteers, Staff and Board of other Organizations that have shown interest in WCO. We have a massive ad campaign that will be on-going. We are always interested in hearing from other Musicians, having them join our Orchestra and the Volunteer Orchestra as well as the Big Bands that we have developed.

The waiver form must be sent in to the Parade Committee and the Parade is January 2, 2010. The theme is "Miami Winter Wonderland" and will be held in Downtown Coral Gables at 6:00 PM. This is the signature event of the largest youth festival in the world. I have been working on this with the Junior Orange Bowl Parade Committee since our May 17, Performance. We need people to hold the WCO banner and wave the Flags of their respective countries and sing, everyone is welcome to join us in this parade under the WCO Banner. Please, if you are interested in attending or performing or bringing guests to march in the parade with us, send in the application and inform me as to whether you will Perform or March, so we can act accordingly. Please respond to me: Andrew Singer singercheck@aol.com by e-mail.

WCO is an Orchestra built with people that are primarily Teacher's of Music, we are a worldwide group representing 17 Musicians from Europe, 17 from Latin America and 16 from the US and Canada. Under International and US National Conductor Donald Covert, Educated at Juilliard and his final degree in Austria, Donald is an amazing Musician. His three years of training under Leonard Bernstein, former boyfriend of Madonna and his own unique talents as a premier Pianist and Conducting Full Score by memory places us in a unique position in the World of Music. As a non-profit, we have objectives that others may not be able to reach out for. We are a very new Orchestra having decided to build on February 21 of 2009, in the midst of the downfall of other musical endeavors but we have Musicians that really want to perform and they came to our rescue and have brought their friends and family to join us.

As a musician yourself you must know the thrill of having a performance where the crowd gets it. Bandmix is a phenomenal opportunity to bring goodwill and strengthen ties to Musicians throughout the world. There are those amongst us that love music and seek to bring good vibrations to Musicians and Lovers of music. Thank you for recognizing the energy that World Class Orchestra represents. We will be a huge asset to Bandmix.

Yes, that is one of our pieces of music. How nice that you would make the effort to check us out.

Definitely, look us up when you vacation in Fort Lauderdale.

One day soon, we will have a website worthy of our Music. My personal reason for leading this group might shock you as I am not a Musician at all, I am a Videographer having worked for Bo Diddley, Tiny Tim, Dizzy Gillespie and about 75 Bands in the D.C. area and Florida. Having an involvement with so many Musicians I met Maestro Covert and with the demise of our Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, he asked me to join him and build an Orchestra from the remnants of the FPO.

Then, I traveled to his home and found myself standing next to his piano and he told me to close my eyes and then he started playing a Mozart piece and during the performance he told me when the violin's would begin, the bass, cello's, timpani and he sold me on his dream of a World Class Orchestra and we work 24/7 to keep it going.

As with any Band or Orchestra, each day must be utilized to get publicity, get gigs, create friendships, booking agents, connections and keep the dream alive. Some are good and most fall by the wayside. Just like my Video contacts of one telling another, so too will the Orchestra thrive, even though it costs $20,000 to put them on stage with two practices. In that respect a four piece Band seems like a bargain but there is nothing that compares to having an Orchestra perform. Dressed in Gowns and Tux, with a million dollars worth of Instruments and all of their education, there is nothing else like it. We have 50 Virtuoso's that when united are equal to the sound of any Orchestra in the world.
