Hey Y'all,
My Name is J Juliano. I thought I'd post this on bandmix.com and give y'all a sneak preview of the ad before it hits the Chicago Reader next week. My band will be holding auditions for a female, Country back-up vocalist (only serious, committed individuals) in early February.
Before I go much further, I'd like to give you a little background on myself. I'm an established singer/songwriter originally from Birmingham , AL . I currently reside in the NW 'burbs of Chicago . I've spent my life touring with successful country rock bands (opening for Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Toby Keith and a host of others along the way). Currently I am a National Finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown (www.countryshowdown.com). If you google my name "J Juliano" you can see that I'm very serious about music and have a strong background in it.
Long story short, after finding out that my wife and I were expecting our first child, I took some time off and began recording "Little Nashville", Today's "Hot Country" for kids and grown-ups, too. Basically, it's produced like anything you'd hear on the radio today, but with a kid-friendly message. We ain't the Wiggles or Barney....we're serious musicians that choose to rock out with the entire family.
This is a full-band (Guitar, bass, drums, etc.) project. We are expecting a huge summer (and are seeking national recognition as well as potential label options) and are on the lookout for a female vocalist to accompany me.
We'll be leaving town for a week to head to Nashville for the National Colgate Finals, but will be back in Chicago to audition singers in early February. I'll be reachable all the while on my cell, though...so feel free to call if you'd like to chat further about the project (815-347-3221)

Must work well with children, but have adult appeal/vocal ability. Also must have the drive to help us continue our rise in the industry. Our music is produced like "Today's Hot Country".
