In addition to being a long suffering guitar player and closet song writer, I also happen to be the sales manager at a new website development team here in Winnipeg.
We have a heart for local music and we'd like to help local musicians:
1) Promote their band online
2) Sell their music online
3) Create an internet "mecca" where your faithful fans can follow your every move.
Normally, this kind of site would run you a couple of thousand. To help the local music industry, we're doing it for $500. The website will still LOOK like a couple grand, and you'll be able to update your touring schedule, upload your music and sell it through your local pay-pay.
We're doing it for this summer. The only pre-requisite - you need to be a Manitoban band (although we will make allowances if you're on the border with Manitoba. You know who you are).
