:?: Hi,

Maybe, by any chance, I can find here what I've been searching for long now.
I have an old Carvin QuadX amp. Not the latest update from the brand but it sounds too good for me to consider selling it.
My problem is, I bought it secondhand in France but without its specific footswitch controller (dubbed FS 77 if I'm right). This item has a particular plug that makes it hard to replace with something equivalent (mostly for a non specialist). I desperately need this to switch between the 4 channels while playing.
So : does anyone here have an embryo of answer or advice on how and where to find the grail ? A retailer, or somebody having that, full of dust in his attic ? Any clue welcome.
Thanks

Phil

I just read you can take a fs-22 and modify it to a fs-36.

Glad it's you and not me.. eeeek! lol

You're right ! I'm not at my ease in my own shoes, here ! To me, what you say just drives me back to the start. I don't have any FS22 nor FS36, since I don't even know where to start searching such old stuff like this.
So, my initial question is still pending... :?:

Phil, you can get a f22 on eBay.

There is one on there right now.

Guess you are really pissed cause you bought that without the foot switch.

Spoke to a tech, who is a friend, and he advises to mod the f22 or just get rid of the whole shebang.

That foot switch is damn hard to get and only usually with the rest of amp.

(I hope you got a deal at least)

Thanks a lot for that advice. It seems to be my very last chance to get a footswitch for my amp. If i don't get this one on e-bay, then maybe indeed, you might see my QuadX for sale sooner or later...

Thanks again

Phil :)

I sure hope you' have'nt opened yourself up to a "BIG,BIG LAWSUIT" by recording" Dust in The Wind" and submitting it here, without permission ! I'm most sure that Kerry Livgren would take offense.

6-year-old thread, dude. There's nothing stopping anyone from recording a cover song - a commercial release of it, however, requires a license.
