Tascam DP 004 recorder ... your thoughts ?

I don't have experience with digital 4-tracks, but I can tell you that portable recorders like the Zoom H2 & H4 are great.. but they're only 2-track instead... I think.

O.K. ... I bought this puppy last-night from Musicians Friend ... I'll report back after I get it and run it through it's paces
Thanks for your suggestion Andragon ... the H2 is a 2 track and the H4 is ... thats right you guessed it ... a 4 track

I actually just bought the DP-02 and this is the 8 track with the built in cd burner ,can transfer files to the cpu and I love this I was considering the 4 track first but this better suited my needs,this is selling for $429 on musicians friend ,caught a sweet deal and got if for $317 with a coupon ,then because of the demand it went up after that ,it was on back order for about a month and a half but the wait was well worth it ,it takes a little use to get the unit down to being able to use it correctly ,Iwas still thinking of getting the 4 track for my own personal use as we set up a studio else where ...guy...UNISON/LAUGHING STRANGER
