Wooden cabinet, rear bassport, amp is in one cabinet, so an extension cable runs to the other side, only one speaker needs to be plugged into AC.
These actually provide a decent sound, ideal for someone starting out with homerecording or if you have limited space or just want some better computer speakers than the flat panel style you get these days. Low end is 90Hz, so if you have a sub woofer, these could really work for you.
I upgraded to JBLs so don't need these anymore.
