I am just a piano & organ man so I run a Kurzweil Micro Piano module through a studio logic 88 for piano and I use a Korg CX-3 draw bar organ for my B sounds.

I really take an interest to what people use on stage! Thanks for all your replys and keep 'em comin'

I just use a Motif ES6 and a Motion sound KBR3D. I assign all my Organ Patches out to Assignable outputs and patch them through the rotary channel on the motion sound! It's working pretty sweet. More to add later!

Thanks again!

just picked up a Yamaha PSR-E413 to learn on .... sure as hell beats the 2 note polyphonic power of my old Casio SA-8 and my dude's Casio PT-82 ($200 back in the day, now you would be lucky to get more than $2 for it)[/list]

Big fan of the Nord Electro 88 Stage Piano here. I've been using one for almost 2 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I used to use a Roland JX-8P and JV-880 MIDId to my XP-10 master keyboard. This was a decent rig which gave me plenty of scope, power and precision both live and in the studio. However, I found that the JV went on strike a bit when going from a chilly car into a warm venue so I cast about for something else, so, with a JV-1080 at home, I went for its keyboard version, the XP-50. As the JV and XP have similar architectures, I was able to dump all the user patches I'd created and used on the JV into the XP - excellent!

I replaced the ageing JX with a superb Novation KS5 which is quite a beast.
I'd recommend either synth to anyone looking for something useful and exciting for either home or studio use.

WHAT I USE: I have a Yamaha PSR2100 and a Kerzweil PC3. I can easily go out and do a single act gig with just the Yamaha PSR2100 and a PA. The sounds are good and it's easy to do all the back-up to fill in all the holes. The Kerzweil is a great piano keyboard and has some great sounds which works great if your playing with Charles Atlas finger muscles. However, for synth and organ sounds, it's hard to play with dexterity due to the piano touch. 8)
I used to carry around a Kawai EP608 Electric Grand piano, a Hammond B-3 with twin Leslie speakers and a trailer to haul it all in. I CAN SCRATCH MY ANKLES WITHOUT BENDING OVER! Thank goodness for technology!

Kurzweil PC3 and Yamaha Motif ES6 with mLan, which acts as the soundcard for my laptop on which I run Brainspawn Forte 2 witha few choice softsynths.

Works like a dream.

I am a solid double Yamaha DGX-500 and 620 man. I love using the freedom of two full 88 keyboards, with GM and XG. I have both of them connected to my PC via USB, the 620 directly, and the 500 via UX16.

The 500 offers 88 unweighted keys, while the 620 has 88 weighted keys, so I have the best of both worlds. Especially when I play Volcano by Jimmy Buffett, as the MIDI track plays on the 620, I can add my own keyboard touches on the 500 above it on the same double X stand.

I use a Triton lassic with the classic piano expansion and fully loaded ram. Also use the moss board in the trition. For a bottomboard I use a Roland Fantom for basic pianos ,strings and a pretty cool B3 patch. I also use the Roland for any pre recording saving the triton for fills. When Im not on keys I use a Carvin Califrni Carved top and a V220 for the Kick --- 80's guitar sound. They are complimented with a Marshall half stack with a TSL 60 and a original 1960A Cab. Love my gear !!!!!!
