SCHWANDER MECANISM - how to improve?

I have a grand piano with SCHWANDER mechanism, but I have had performance limitations. Trills and responses to repetitions are very slow.
I would like help finding out how to improve this.
If I replace the hammer, does it somehow improve? Some part that I can replace with Renner's mechanism, for example?
