That being said Ive had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bob Gatzen He worked R&D for Evens for several years and developed the EMAD BASS Drum Head,and GMAD I loved those Heads for years and being a REMO Lover And Still am I use Remo now it depends on the Gig Im playing or recording and Venue or place Im Playing I use the PowerSonic Clear BD Head on my 14x18 & 16x20 Yamaha Recording Custom And on my 18x20 Gretsch BD I use Remo Powerstoke 4 clears on my Toms switching to Remo Pinstripes clear on toms on Snare I use a coated Evans Genera Vented Dry on my Brass SD a 3.5 x14 Yamaha Garrabaldi,Ludwig 5x14 Brass on Brass, Noble&Cooley Aluminum 5x14, But on my wood Gretsch,Craviotto, SD I use a FiberSkyn or Remo Ambassitor Coated,On my Gretsch BeBop I use a Remo Vintage Ambassitors on toms and a Powerstroke3 Coated on Bass drum My Resonate Heads are Remos Powerstroke 3 Ebony Ported w Kickports and Fiberskyn Emperor full on Gretsch BeBop.In Recording Situations Ive had many compliments on my Drums EQ alot has to do with head choice its your individual choice
