my bf has a decent Tama kit from the 80s, he'd sell...
-two 24" kicks
-toms (maybe 7 or 8 of them) ranging from 4" - 16", I'm not 100% on those
-two floor toms, again I don't want to give specs, but judging from the big kick I'd expect them to be larger than most

This was the main/standard kit in the 80s for recording.
There are live videos of LOMBARDO of SLAYER using what looks like exactly the same kit in New York of 91 on youtube.

I just want to warn you,
those 24" kick skins are becoming rare. So just call before driving across town when picking up new ones

Thanks , but when you have to clean it once a week to keep the dust off
it gets old after a while, I like big kits cause you can mix things up alot
with the different toms plus adding different sounds to 2 different size
bass drums. :D

Chipfryer, the website rocks , pretty inventive.

Yeah I know what you mean. They offer so much versatility with the right music don't they. I had a 14 piece years ago which was a nightmare to keep clean but this was comprised of several different brands so I coated the shells in vinyl. Looked pretty cool after I'd refitted it I have to say.

Good luck with your sale. I know you'll miss them

Keep well.
