This Larrivee BT60 is made of Spruce & Rosewood. It's a slope shouldered baritone with a superb rich tone, great power and a deep, robust voice. A unique and beautiful sounding guitar.
The baritone guitar has a longer scale length than a standard guitar, but contrary to what you would expect, the longer scale length doesn't seem to make it harder to play (something to do with the neck profile I think!). I have only titchy hands and I manage just fine. The extra scale length and heavier string guages allow it to be tuned to a lower range. This lower tuning gives a profound power to the bass register that is absolutely addictive!
