1980 Gibson Les Paul "The Paul".

This is the more desirable Firebrand Deluxe version. This model was only made between 1980 and 1982. Unlike the other models that are all walnut....these are all mahogany for great tone.
Get all the great tones and styling of a LP w a slightly reduced weight due to no maple cap.
The pickups are Gibson but I'm pretty sure the brdg p/u has been changed since i've never seen one of these gtrs w a pickup cover (as the brdg p/u has one) The underside is clearly stamped "GIBSON".
Tuning machines are non original GFS keystone type tuners that work great.
I believe everything else is original. Frets are in in good shape on nice ebony fingerboard. Great playing, great sounding guitar. Has the dings and scratches you'd expect on an instrument of this vintage.
