There is no serial number or year stamped, if you want a Verifiable 52 RI Fender Telecaster, you will need to spend that kind of money(1500.00) on one, if you want a very close facsimile in regards to playing, look and feel at a fraction of the cost this is your guitar, you will be more than happy with it.
