This is my own unit, purchased about 1971-72. Was in a box for years. Needed a small diode which was repaired locally, have original part which went out. Original pedal and main unit with wall plug. Never abused and very lightly used in fact. Great condition and works as it should. For the Hendrix and Trower vibe only possible with this pedal, you can get the original. Firm price cash. There is only one listed on Ebay with a replacement pedal. Originals like this in good condition have been sold upwards of $2500. B/W image from ads way back when, color sales image more recent but different from original. Unit for sale is grey metal with black plastic face as shown in first photo.

Slow. Swooshy. Rich. That's the sound of the Uni-Vibe.
The Uni Vibe (or UniVibe, or Uni-Vibe) is a footpedal-operated phaser or phase shifter for
creating chorus and vibrato simulations for electric organ or guitar. It was introduced
in the 1960s by the Univox company, and was designed to electronically emulate the "Doppler sound"
of a Leslie rotating organ speaker.

Hendrix's use of the Uni-Vibe can be traced to the summer of '69,
shortly after its initial release, where he used it extensively
on stage at Woodstock and for most live performances thereafter.

Thanks to artists such as Robin Trower and Jimi Hendrix,
the Uni-Vibe is firmly entrenched in rock 'n roll history as a superb
effect in its own right.

The Uni-Vibe is an under-used item in the guitar player's arsenal.
It'll make your rhythm chops come alive and add an extra dimension to your
solos. It'll also spice up your recordings!

Are you stupid?

Are you talking about a Shin-ei univibe?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

Can't get the same sound, huh>? You just start playing last year?

And 1950$? You must be a wannabe rapist!

TO ANY AND ALL THAT NEED A GOOD UNIVIBE, try a Sweet Sounds Inc. Mojo Vibe or Ultra Vibe.

They run 175-300$ and they sound just as good.

This guy is a MAJOR ripoff. You want a Shin-ei for 1000's of dollars, great. Don't forget the expression pedal, that's expensive too.

PS: You can get a Shin-ei univibe here in NJ for 1K. The guy is PUI for sure!
