He was quite a guitar player, & a good guy all around. Remember "Amos Moses?" Amazing chicken pickin', & a wonderful sense of humor. His version of "Georgia On My Mind" still haunts me. "When You're Hot You're Hot" was funny & challenging, too. Truly underrated, he was.

Another great loss, as far as I'm concerned.

yeah I was crushed when I found out. When I was a boy smokey and the bandit sold me on him. Both his acting and "east bound and down". Then I found the rest of his music as a teen on. He will be sorely missed by me.

No idea he was such a awesome musician. Wow. I'm dumbfounded.
..might have heard his stuff before his acting career took-off i guess and maybe forgot (?) ... That sawed-off classical guit he played was just too cool.
