I found it interesting that she performed 20 songs, and her band spent 653 hours rehearsing.
That figures out to 32-1/2 hours of rehearsal PER SONG.
.
Granted, a lot of that is the dancing . . . but, still . . .
You may or may not like her music, but you cannot deny her determination . . .

If her concert songs are 4 minutes long each, then that works out to 8 hours of rehearsal for each 1 minute of song . . . (a 3 minute song = 10 hours rehearsal per song,)

I have never had anything but the utmost respect for Madonna, even though I don't like her music.

What a WORKER! She definitely goes far & beyond the extra mile to do a great job for her fans.

It just goes to show that drive, determination, persistance, creativity & practice can & do produce one's own luck far better than sitting & waiting for that opportunity to come a-knockin' at your door.

Madonna was the original MTV superstar. In my opinion Madonna is musically irrelevant. Will anybody thirty years from now LISTEN to a Madonna recording? Madonna has stayed in the limelight all these yeras by constantly creating controversy, constantly recreating her image, and using dance to keep HER the center of attention. The music has always been an afterthought. There's not a lot of musically redeeming quality to her songs. If it wasn't for the visual part of her productions I don't think she ever would have made it big strictly as a singer. But then again i would like to earn interest on the interest she earns. I would be filthy rich. Later...

Having said that, the bitch can write.. AS sad as it is, she has plenty of material and is well received..

I was praying her career was over when she put out the metal book entitled, "sex" guest star Wesley Snipes.. LOL

Sadly, she's a fing icon... And if no one remembers her, she won't even bat an eye. She'll get one of her many men to lie down so she can whip him with the bullwhip and he'll cry for her. LOL

Talentless hag that she is, she fooled us all and she is laughing all the way to the bank.. (not like a virgin) lol

She researches things to upgrade her act, & dumps bunches of her $ into it as well. Do you?

She works out every frikken day to keep her body toned to be able to do the dancing & performing that she does. Do you?

And she still finds the time to write, after all of that.

Sorry. i'm impressed with her. No matter how "average" her voice or writing abilities, she manages to make it on the radio, even at 50, & manages to sell respectable amounts of tickets at every show.

Hard worker, that. It's still paying off for her, too, as it frikken SHOULD!

I might be jealous.. Never thought of it like that. I just would like to drop her in the chipper feet first to watch the expression on her face.

And her music hurts my stomach to listen to...

(if she played more along what I like, I'd detest her less)

We have no dancing in our show.. (thank god)

And I am tired of her kissing other women at gala events.

I'm turning 50 on the first and I haven't sold a single song and the only sold out show I ever played was a band competition.

I can hate on her. She sucks. But you know she could have just hung it up being 50 n all. I wont say I respect her as I think shes a cockroach but I can say I respect the accomplishment. Sort of.

Madonna doesn't do anything for me. Never has, never will.
