He was a bastard, I did not wish him harm, but he was not a good person at all.

I think Tina shed a tear or two for the cameras...and then late that night chugged a bottle of JD and snuck into the cemetery to take a long steaming piss on the guy's grave.

I happen to agree with that. I would not blame her if she dug it up and stuck a stack of TNT to it. "Kaboom!" And that ought to send him just a couple more layers deeper into Hell. Lmao.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

But her gave her the "Positronic Penis Piston"!!

And ya know she is eternally grateful to the point that all the physical abuse is worth it.. lol

I doubt she'd agree with that if you asked her. Rape, physical abuse of women just isn't a real funny topic.

I do not take it light either, I cannot find jokes funny that are too extreme, like rape. It is uh, just very wrong. Face it people, Ike Turner was a piece of royal sh*t, excuse my language. He beat that woman into the ground, raped her, verbally abused her, and almost killed her. So why should I feel bad that he died? Why should anyone? He can keep his great guitar playing, he was a very bad person.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

It's a shame when your opinion of a musician's music

is clouded by whether they were a rotten person or not. James Brown is another dirtbag that happened to be one of the greatest, if not THE greatest showman of all time. Now when I hear a James Brown tune I think of him fining his band members for hitting a wrong note in concert. He even refused to pay some of them because he "caught" them playing more than one bad note. One day his band came to him to complain and he fired the entire band. Now every time I hear one of his tunes I think what a dickhead he was. Later...

It's now official, the "baddest badass" (and original Rocker) Ike Turner died from overdosing on cocaine. Abusing other people is bad, that goes without saying. Ike, at 76 obviously abused himself as well. Judge the man if you must, but remember, Blues,R&B,and Rock in general has its dark side. When Fisherman Bob,RythmMan,Mike Gentry,or all the rest of us are out playing deep "heart felt"rocking rhythm and blues, Like it or not,we pay (at least to some degree) homage to the man who gave us "Rocket 88".

Didn't know he was a rapist/cocaine addict. You know he's probably boiling in a big kettle of oil, in Hell. The devil took his guitar and stuck in the chipper, while he was forced to watch.

AS for "Rocket 88", I never heard it.

Off to UTube. Gotta love UTube, as any obscure reference to things like "Rocket 88" can be quickly searched and listened to.

It doesn't even have to contaminate my vinyl collection. lol

(kicks Ike Turner in the head) Let's see what ya got!~

(later)

1-4-5. Sounds like Johnny be Goode or Ice Cream Man. Geeze what a let down.

Rocket 88 takes me way back

I was in a blues band in New Jersey in the early 80's. We had the best version of Rocket 88 I ever heard. At the time we were fronted by Kent Miller, one of THE BEST harmonica players in the world. That song kicked ass, may have been our best tune. Later...
