Bleh, I was like 10 darn years old when that was released. When I was ten it was a good bouncy song to jump around to. When I hit 12 I thought I was listening to the Devil's music. Lmao. Boo, no Spice Girls! She can keep her husband too (Victoria Beckham), he got payed 25 million damn dollars to go get injured! *Thumbs down*

Spice Girls should be stopped at Customs simply because one of them married that overblown loser David Beckham. I went to see a game here last year JUST to see Beckham play. What a flatulent disappointment. He couldn't run, he had no speed, could barely dribble, had few skilz. Oh, except he could curve a goal shot.

I have figured it out. I think Spice Girl fans are people who were experimented on and brainwashed. Someone programmed them to believe the Spice Girls were as good as Led Zeppelin. I think I will make it my mission in life to find them and stop them from doing that. Then again, they may be building a giant Spice Girl army. Imagine, 5000 brainwashed f**ks that love the Spice Girls coming to kill you. Now that is what I call a horror movie, lmao.

is everything but the music. The stupid music videos have pretty much ruined music. I mean how many belly buttons do I have to see? How many boob jobs do I have to see? How many synchronized dance steps do I have to see? How many paparazzi do I have to see taking pictures of Britney? There's virtually nothing musically redeemng being bought by the masses today. There's a singer/songwriter/guitarist in town who has come out with a number of CD's in recent years named Jerry Dowell (who I think is pretty much a musical genius) who can hardly get jobs, and then some friggin idiot like Justin Timberlake (who can't sing to save his life) is making millions. Makes me want to puke. Later...

Lmao. Yeah, I know what you mean. We have these people who have no talent coming out and singing, and making millions of dollars. We have to hear about them every day, and listen to their horrible songs.

Yet, those with all the talent are no where. I mean, I saw this band a month or so back, great cover band (Wish they played some of their own stuff). The lead singer had awesome vocals (With a little bit of vocal training he would be great), the lead guitarist was freaking awesome, the bass player was good, the drummer was good, and the rhythm guitarist was good. The whole band rocked, but yet I know they are not going anywhere. The reason for that you ask? Because people like pop singers have trashed the music industry! Very frustrating.

Bob I totally agree with you on all that, but - weren't you the one touting the glories of the free market system a ways back? I hate do this, but what you rightly bemoan above is the free market working exactly as it's supposed to! Take a product or create one, convince the public that it's good and they like it, get your sales force to pound the turf and sell the sh*t out of it, and rake in the dough! It doesn't MATTER how "good" or of worth the product it, what matters is the ability to make the public THINK that it's good!

We live in the era of marketing, not value creation. Huzzah!
