Write a chromatic scale C to C on the staff.
Below it, divide it into a 6-note sequence of the whole notes.
Below that pull out the min3rds of the four-note diminished sequence.
Then the major thirds, a three note sequence.
Finally, do the tritone or flat 5, which divides the 12-note chromatic sequence in half.
Connect the C and F# notes and you get a 12-point star.
