I saw the Ventures at a small club in New Jersey in the early eighties. It was easily one of the VERY BEST shows I've ever seen. The bass player in that band (Bob Bogle?) was AMAZING, UNBELIEVABLE, PHENOMENOL, ETC.ETC. They played ONE song with vocals, the rest instrumentals. I always liked the Dave Clark Five when I was a kid. I'm not sure the other nominees belong in the Hall of Fame (especially Madonna). Later...

Say what you want about Madonna, but she works harder than most ppl on these posts to accomplish a great act.

Might not be your thing, but one must admit that she's good at what she does. I don't own anything she did, but I've seen her perform & she has as much or more energy onstage as the Chili Peps...great act, for the genre.)

I agree with the induction of all the above.

I'm waiting for the drug nazis to try to remove ppl who used...LOL...like the baseball hall of fame does with gamblers, & growth hormone & steroid users.

Remember that old Howard Stern thing involving Chip Znuff of "Enough's Znuff?" (avert eyes if you don't or can't handle a story a bit on the non-PC side)

Chip evidentially got with Madonna and during the throws of passion decided to urinate in her. LOL

The next thing he did was a Howard Stern Show and blabbed all over the place. (He should have remained silent and laughed in relative obscurity) (I think she took it out on his non-existent career)

Urinating inside Madonna is like spitting in a sewage treatment plant!

BTW, has anyone here ever heard of a "space dock?"

HINT: It was mentioned in the movie "The Aristocrats"

I love Madonna, I always refer to her when dishing out lessons on promiscuity. LOL

AS I like to put it, she likes to "spin the wheel of DNA." The same father is oh so boring, especially when you have the big buck$ to make it all float.

Madonna is not much of singer in my opinion. I guess she puts on a good show. And she's really the first MTV supersatr. She's always taken full advantage of PR and the media. I think she's NOT that attractive, kind of skanky. Yeah, don't like her voice at all. The world's biggest Material Girl is definitely NOT Hall of Fame material. Just my opinion and two cents. Later...

Spot On BOB!

I think Madonna is the most famous round these parts for that sex book she made with Wesley Snipes. LOL

Thanks Captain Scott. Hey I used to live in New Jersey, spent 18 years there from 1970 to 1987. Most of those years in Morris County (Denville, Parsippany, Boonton, Rockaway) and a few years in Hackettstown. We used to go shopping in Flemington at the outlet stores. How is New Jersey these days? Getting too crowded? Too expensive to live? Moved out to Kansas City because Jersey was getting too crowded for my taste. Now we're getting kind of crowded here (tens of thousands of illegal aliens moving in). Talk to you later I'm sure...

Just because a person is an illegal doesn't make him or her less of a HUMAN. 10 fingers, 10 toes and they bleed red as well. If you needed help, I don't think you would so quickly make the distinction.

If you remember correctly, we were all illegals to begin with and then we ass f**k the Indians out of THEIR land. It's one hell of a shitty deal that those forefathers put on the originals. We're just lucky they didn't rise up and cleanse the entire continent as we would do in that type of situation if the roles were reversed.

The USA has always been a melting pot of many peoples, some like you and some not like you. It's a crappy thing that we discriminate because we got here a few hundred years before someone else did. (reminds me of musical chairs)

If we had a good way of coping with the influx of people, no one would say sheet. It's same as it ever was, politicians blaming someone else for their short-comings and lack of perfect planning.

Perfect Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance...
