Just lookin' for some honest 'constructive' feedback on some demos of mine on my profile. I just got a GNX4 about a month ago and decided to start demoing out some tunes. I accept all constructive feedback, but I'm not lookin for people who want to stroke their own egos by detroying mine...if ya don't like it THAT much, don't even bother commenting...Thanks and I appreciate the listen.
Cheers!

I agree with the Capt on this one. The music and recording are top notch however, 100RPM from start to finish with a slight melody and a little doodling get old after about 1 min. If you took your style and gave it the Joe Walsh "Life been good so far" concept, then ya got some really cool stuff. _________________ People who think they know what they're doing are especially annoying to those of us who do.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys, I'm honestly just getting used to playing leads, I've only ever played rhythm up until this past month, so I'm still working on getting different stylings and such down. I do love the high energy music but I agree, 100 miles an hour will only get you there fast, not necessarily 'in style'. I have started to experiment, with my 2 latest "Die Again" and "Ignition" to change up the tempo, or add in a bit of a twist to the songs, so that they don't go stale so to speak. I'm sure you'll see the songs evolve more and more as I get better at mixing in that sort of thing.
But hey this is a start, thanks again! |
