| I just saw some youtube clips of him on Oprah this week, and I would trade places with Gene Siskel rather than be in the condition this poor bastard is in. |

What a weird coincidence. Both (Siskell and Ebert) had cancer in the head area apparently. Roger is now cancer free, but what a toll it took on his body. I'll bet if you ask him he'd tell you it's better being alive than dead. What a shame though... _________________ Don't let a boy do a man's job. |

The Esquire interview with Ebert is a really interesting read. He's a happy guy. Sure, he's lost half his jaw and he can't speak anymore, but he's found a type of happiness with this; he's become a better and more prolific writer as a result.
I admire the guy. Love his work. He has a great mind too. _________________ "We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us." -E.M. Forster |

Just goes to show how dangerous Hollywood entertainment really is... _________________ If you don't like what I do, that's okay with me. I'll probably do it anyway, though. |
